FRATM is an authentic Italian restaurant inspired by Naples, offering a modern take on classic dishes. The menu features artisanal small plates like burrata with truffle honey, Neapolitan meatballs, and Mediterranean octopus, alongside fresh salads and wood-fired pizzas made with San Marzano tomatoes and fior di latte mozzarella. Guests can enjoy signature specialties such as house-made lasagna, gnocchi sorrentina, and slow-braised short ribs, as well as elegant entrées like grilled salmon and Mediterranean branzino. ABOUT
ANGELO

Born and raised in the culinary-rich city of Naples, Italy, Angelo Sannino has always had a passion for authentic Italian cuisine. His journey began in his hometown, where he developed a deep appreciation for traditional cooking techniques and high-quality ingredients. In 2002, Angelo made the bold decision to immigrate to San Francisco, seeking new opportunities to share his love for Italian food. Over the years, he has had the privilege of managing several high-end restaurants, including Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills and Trattoria Dell’Arte in New York City. In 2014, together with his business partner Gianni Chiloiro, Angelo founded Doppio Zero, bringing a taste of Southern Italy to the Bay Area. He followed up Doppio Zero with the successful sandwich shop Gusto Mio in Walnut Creek. Now, with FRATM, he is excited to continue his culinary journey, offering the vibrant community of San Rafael an authentic Italian dining experience that reflects his heritage and passion.
